Using Rigbolt / Rigbolt for Mac

Git and Code Review

Inspect repository state, verify changes and use Rigbolt's dedicated commit review when appropriate.

Product documentation · Rigbolt v0.1.1 · Updated October 2026

01 / Using Rigbolt

Inspect source changes

Open Rigbolt → Code Review for the selected Git repository.

Inspect working-tree and staged differences. Read exact file hunks, not just filenames.

Use Git status and diff to verify changes before testing or committing.

Important — Code Review is read-only. It does not automatically stage or approve changes.
02 / Using Rigbolt

Commit reviewed work

Make and test your code changes.

Stage the intended files with Rigbolt's Git stage command or equivalent controlled workflow.

Use Rigbolt's dedicated Git commit action and review the exact staged snapshot and commit message.

Approve the explicit commit request once; then verify the created commit and status.

Important — The dedicated commit action asks for approval. An unrestricted developer shell is not a hardened OS security boundary and can run Git commands independently.
03 / Using Rigbolt

Publish only when intended

Verify the branch and remote.

Review uncommitted or unrelated changes before push.

Push only with user authorization and check the remote result. Never silently force-push or reset unrelated work.
